National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) controversies continue to increase the panic among student.
NEET 2017 was held on May 7, amidst controversies including question papers in various languages including Hindi,English and Tamil were not the same and not of same difficulty levels & Paper leakages .
Over 11 lack medical aspirants appeared for this test over 1921 centers.
Result of NEET 2017 was scheduled to be published on June 8. But uncertainty continue.......
The Madras High Court granted an interim stay on the publication of result of the NEET 2017. High Court also directed officials of Medical Council Of India, the CBSE and Union Health Ministry to file their counter affidavits on June 7. The petitioners alleged that uniform question paper were not given and there was a vast difference between English and Tamil question papers. They demanded that the NEET examination be cancelled and a fresh test with uniform question papers be conducted.
Also the group of 40 to 45 parents of students who had taken the CBSE conducted test in Gujarati language filed the petition in Gujarat High Court contending that the question papers in Gujarati language was more difficult than those in English languages. The petition by the parents group said, by providing question papers of different difficulty levels for a common merit list was the breach of students right to equality guaranteed under Article 14 of the Constitution. The Gujarat High Court issues notice to CBSE, Medical Council Of India and others over a plea for holding the NEET 2017 exam a fresh with same questions in Gujarati and English language
Meanwhile the Supreme Court Of India refused to grant an urgent hearing on a plea seeking to conduct afresh the NEET exam for current year. The Supreme Court Of India said "What is the urgency? There is already an interim stay. We are not rejecting it now"
Among all the controversies students and their parents are puzzled
Will the result of NEET 2017 be declared on June8 ?
Will there be re-NEET ???
Now the important question is that who is responsible for all these controversies ?
NEET is a single exam carried out by CBSE for admission to MBBS AND BDS courses. As per the policy One Nation One Exam.,it must be uniform throughout the country.
If the questions in English and other regional languages are different, the exam is not uniform for all students.
CBSE ! Dont play with life of student !
Yes CBSE should look over these problems as they are happening every year
